challenges identified effectively:
- The project manager planned a phased approach.
- The technology team identified the use of
Microsoft SharePoint to meet the stated goals,
by leveraging the inherent features of
SharePoint.
- The Instructional Design team performed a
usability and gap analysis to analyze the
knowledge base and identify information gaps.
- The Instructional Design team captured
knowledge using customized knowledge capture
templates.
- The technology team created knowledge access
frameworks to encompass all explicit Web site
information, with inputs from the Instructional
Design team regarding priority, accessibility,
and usability of information.
- The media team and the technology team
collaborated to integrate the learning assets
into the knowledge solution.
As the solution to the challenges, approach,
goals, and frameworks identified, Brainvisa
developed:
- Brainvisa Knowledge Access Framework (BKAF)
- Template-based tacit knowledge capture.
- Information architecture.
- Maintain & update configured knowledge assets.
